Nesting ball fiber

This listing is for 1 ounce of 100% alpaca fleece. It is a natural material birds love to use in building their nest. It is soft, luxurious and cozy.

The fiber comes in various colors: White, beige, brown and black. If you have a preference, please e-mail me, otherwise there will be a mixture of colors. You may find a few pieces of hay or grass intertwined in the fleece, the birds will use this too in building their nests.
This fiber can be used in a nesting ball, a suet feeder or other objects you may have at home which can be hung from the tree.
The birds love to pluck the fiber out and use it in the construction of their nests.
The nesting ball is not included.

The fun and soul nourishing part is knowing you have provided some of the best building materials for your birds. Sometimes you can enjoy watching them as they build a nest :)

This fiber comes exclusively from your Suri alpacas.
On our ranch in Texas, we have 10 Suri alpacas. Our alpacas are hand shorn each spring, usually in April. Hand shearing is less stressful and cruelty free. We have found this allows the animals to be more trusting as they live in a loving and peaceful environment. All the animals on our ranch live a very happy and stress free life as it is important they are all treated with love, respect and kindness.
A peaceful loving environment allows the animals to thrive, in turn producing better fiber and overall better physical and emotional health and well being for all.
